The non-human identity (NHI) security announced today that it has successfully closed an $18 million Series A investment round.
Led by Dell Technologies Capital, earlier seed investors Hyperwise Ventures and StageOne Ventures, and renowned angel investors Rakesh Loonkar and Mickey Boodaei also participated in the funding.
This new capital flow aims to enhance Entro’s global operations and meet the growing demand for an innovative NHI and secret management platform.
Since going undercover in May 2023, Entro Security has raised a total of $24 million. The company specializes in protecting enterprise-level systems from machine-to-machine threats.
The rapid expansion of cloud and Software as a Service (SaaS) technologies has exacerbated the proliferation of unmanaged NHI and secrets such as API keys and service accounts, which are now 45 times larger than the number of employees. This imbalance has led to serious vulnerabilities, as evidenced by events such as the recent Dropbox breach.
Focusing on NHI lifecycle management and privacy security, Entro aims to provide strategic information security solutions that are increasingly important to businesses.
The platform developed by Entro provides comprehensive functions to manage and secure NHIs and secrets. It enables full visibility, contextual understanding and robust management, enabling companies to effectively protect, control and manage NHI data and secrets from creation to circulation.
Itzik Alvas, co-founder and CEO of Entro Security, said: “In both IBM and Verizon reports, NHI and secrets are the second most common and most expensive attack, which is why CISOs and CIOs have shown interest in our platform. We are eager .to use our Series A funding to continue to manage the field, serve dozens of customers and expand its operations.
Or Avraham, Regatta’s cloud security expert. “Entro has become an important tool in our organization. The platform offers advanced capabilities such as secret disclosure and non-human identity detection and response that easily integrate into our existing workflows. We recommend Entro to any modern enterprise looking to secure and manage the full lifecycle of their -human identity and secrets.
