UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam Tomorrow, Guidelines and Strategies

The e-admit card must be kept by the students till the civil service examination in 2024.

Union Public Civil Services (UPSC) will conduct the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2024 on June 16th, 2024 across the country including Imphal Centre.

We recommend that candidates participating in the examination download and print their e-admit cards. The e-application card must be kept by the students till the civil service examination final result, 2024.

Here are some important guidelines that the students appearing for the exam must follow:

Candidates have to submit the printout of e-admit card at the venue for the examination. Candidates who do not produce the e-admit card will not be admitted to the examination.

Also, in order to participate in each exam, you must bring an ID with a photo, the number of which is indicated on the e-candidate card.

An applicant whose photograph on the e-admit card is unclear or whose name is not on the photograph must carry a photo ID and two passport-sized photographs.

If there is any discrepancy in the e-confirmation card, it can be immediately informed by the commission through email (using email id uscsp-upsc @nic.in).

Candidates must arrive at the test hall 30 minutes before the agreed time, i.e. from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. After the end of the registration period, no student can enter the examination hall. Candidates should also note that they are not allowed to appear at any other examination venue other than the venue mentioned in the e-admit card.

The candidate is not allowed to bring valuables/costly items, mobile phones, smart watches, other IT devices, books, bags etc. to the examination hall, his arrangements to keep them out of the venue, as the committee refused to take responsibility. for them.

Candidates are also advised to carry black pen to fill the OMR answer sheets and attendance list with black pen only.

Possession (even in off mode)/use/operation of mobile phones and other electronic/communication devices or other incriminating material (notes on e-Admit cards, papers, erasers etc.) or violation of instructions may result in disqualification of the candidate application and by lodging an FIR/Police complaint against the applicant.

Normal or plain wrist watches are allowed in the examination rooms/halls. However, the use of watches or smart watches equipped with special devices used as communication devices is strictly prohibited.

Candidates who have changed their name after going through the legal process must bring the electronic admit card, government issued photo ID card and/or original name change notice to each examination session.
